Even though my biggest fear in life is sharks, I have put together a special schedule for you Shark Week fanatics. The Discovery Channel celebrates its 25th year of Shark Week with a jam packed all new line-up of shark infested television. Read on for the full list along with what’s happening with your regular tv viewing schedule.

Monday August 13th
Sharkzilla (9pm): Discovery is resurrecting the largest shark to ever swim in our oceans, a predator so fierce he could have bitten a T. rex in two: the mighty Megalodon. The size of a city bus, these prehistoric sharks were as large as 60 feet long and weighed at least 100,000 pounds.
Mythbusters Jawsome Shark Special (10pm): Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman have put themselves in some pretty hair-raising scenarios to bust the biggest shark myths over the years, and now they count down their top 25 of all time. The duo also takes on new myths, shows never-seen-before footage and reveals the #1 shark myth that will quite literally blow people away.
Tuesday August 14th
How Jaws Changed The World (9pm): In the aftermath of the film’s release, great white sharks were vilified and killed, leading to their near-disappearance from the eastern seaboard. At the same time, public fascination with sharks led to a golden age of shark science that completely changed our view of the ocean and how it works. And as science began showing us how real sharks behave, it spurred a worldwide conservation effort whose earliest champion was Jaws author Peter Benchley.
Adrift: 47 Days With Sharks (10pm): During a routine search and rescue mission over the Pacific in WWII, an American plane crashed into shark-infested waters. This is the inspiring true story of two war heroes — one an Olympian, one a pastor’s son — who managed to survive a record-breaking 47 days at sea in a life raft. They subsisted on only the food they were able to catch from the ocean and the water they were able to collect from the rain, all while fighting off a gang of sharks that were their constant companions.
Wednesday August 15th
Shark Fight (9pm): They’ve been through the ultimate nightmare: hand-to-jaw combat against the ocean’s apex predators, losing limbs and barely escaping with their lives. Yet even after the attacks, they’re still fighting, but what for will surprise you. Amazingly, dozens of shark attack victims around the world have devoted their lives to saving their attackers. They have turned what could have been tragedy into their life’s mission, becoming some of the most powerful shark advocates on the planet. Meet the Shark Survivors and hear their stories of resilience and triumph as they fight what they consider the ultimate battle: saving sharks and our oceans.
Thursday August 16th
Great White Highway (9pm): Right outside the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is home to some of the biggest great white sharks in the world… but only for part of the year. Teams of scientists from Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Station in Monterey Bay have spent years tagging and tracking these sharks to find out why they come here, why they leave and where they go when they do — out into the Pacific on the Great White Highway.
Shark Week’s 25 Best Bites (10pm): Shark Week celebrates its 25th anniversary with a jaw-dropping look back at the greatest breaches, brushes, and bites with the ocean’s apex predator. YouTube celebrity Philip DeFranco takes viewers on a fast-paced ride through all of Shark Week’s greatest hits, including going “Into the Shark Bite,” cavorting with “Sharks After Dark,” living through a “Sharkbite Summer” and learning how to avoid a “Great White Appetite.” And go behind the scenes to see the best bites in Shark Week history.
Monday August 13th
Stars Earn Stripes (8pm): Eight “celebrities” — including Nick Lachey, Terry Crews, Todd Palin, and Dean Cain — execute complicated missions inspired by real military exercises in this fast-paced competition series.
Hells Kitchen (9pm): Makes its return after a hiatus caused by the Olympics. The six remaining chefs compete in a challenge involving eliminated contestants
WWE Raw (9pm): Tonight’s show from Dallas, Texas opens with WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Big Show in a non-title match. WWE will be bringing back the Social Media Ambassador gimmick tonight with MTV’s DJ Pauly D playing the role.
The Closer (9pm): SERIES FINALE! In the series finale, Brenda leads an investigation that she thinks will finally bring nemesis Philip Stroh to justice, but her obsession with him soon puts her career—and her life—in jeopardy.
Grimm (10pm): SEASON PREMIERE! While the Royal Families launch an attack on Nick, the Grimm tries to come to grips with the return of his mother Kelly. Meanwhile, Eddie and Rosalee try to bring Juliette out of her coma, Hank tries to cope with his recent exposures to the Wesen, and Renard must deal with the arrival of his brother in Portland.
Teen Wolf (10pm): SEASON FINALE! Scott races to uncover Gerard’s master plan following a shocking death on the lacrosse field in the Season 2 finale. Meanwhile, Derek plots to take Gerard down using his own methods.
Tuesday, August 14th
Pretty Little Liars (8pm): Hanna and Emily seek clues about Maya at the Kahns’ cabin in the woods. Meanwhile, Spencer investigates Noel; and Aria tries to process the details she’s learned about Ezra’s background.
White Collar (9pm): Neal strikes a deal with an art thief, who has information about his past, and must steal an important piece of art behind the backs of Peter and the FBI.
The Glee Project (10pm): SEASON FINALE! A winner is crowned in “GLEE-ality,” and Chris Colfer makes a cameo.
Franklin & Bash (10pm): Jared’s father attempts to buy the firm. Meanwhile, Peter helps a high-school friend who’s running for governor but is plagued by a scandal.
NY Med (10pm): A single mother with breast cancer learns whether or not the disease has spread; a surgical resident receives lighthearted marital advice from a colleague; a first-year emergency-medicine resident’s even temper helps him deal with inebriated patients and treat a woman injured in a car accident, but his self-control abandons him during a prank by his coworkers.
Wednesday August 15th
So You Think You Can Dance (8pm): Marking its return after a two-week hiatus. Season 9’s Top 14 perform, and four are eliminated.
Oh Sit! (9pm): SERIES PREMIERE! In this “high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition,” 12 contestants navigate five physically demanding obstacle course-style eliminations to claim a chair — all to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, one contestant leaves with a cash prize. Jamie Kennedy and Jessi Cruickshank host, with Tanika Ray providing commentary from the sidelines.
Damages (10pm): Ellen is haunted by an incident that happened years earlier.
Thursday August 16th
Burn Notice (9pm): Fiona must break into a guarded safe in order to help a CIA asset who’s in over her head with a black-market businessman. Elsewhere, Sam and Jesse track a skilled sniper and look for answers at a mercenary training camp.
Saving Hope (9pm): Charlie is removed from his ventilator. As Alex awaits the deadly result, a patient arrives for a routine follow-up—and she could hold the key to understanding Charlie’s condition. In other developments, Joel breaks his hand and is unable to operate, and Maggie and Gavin face the fallout from their kiss.
Anger Management (9:30pm): Charlie gets an unexpected visit from his hyper-critical, bullying father. In the therapy group, Charlie attempts to help Lacey with road rage.
Suits (10pm): Harvey tries to sway an important figure whose vote will determine the firm’s future.
Wilfred (10pm): Wilfred and Ryan go on a spontaneous road trip in “Service.”
Louie (10:30pm): Louie deals with a rash in “Dad.”

True Blood (9pm): Slipping further into religious fervor, Bill gives Jessica an order she loathes to carry out. Armed with a damning video of Russell and Steve, the military delivers an ultimatum to the Authority. Claude and Maurella take Sookie to meet the faerie elder, who may know something about an ancient family secret. Alcide reconnects with his father; Sam and Luna hitch a ride into the Authority.
Breaking Bad (10pm): Occupational hazards affect Jesse as he, Walt and Mike deal with business problems.
The Newsroom (10pm): The “News Night” staff host a mock debate for two Republican Party officials; a power outage energizes Mac’s thought process; Charlie evaluates an intelligence-agency insider’s reliability; Lisa does an on-air interview; Neal poses as an Internet troll.
Weeds (10pm): Everyone has a secret in “Five Miles From Yetzer Hara” but some are worse than others.
Political Animals (10pm): SEASON FINALE! Elaine’s plans leak to the press, and Douglas makes a rash decision in the Season 1 finale, “Resignation Day.”
Episodes (10:30pm): Merc’s career is in jeopardy when it’s discovered that he once passed on a show that became a hit on another network. Meanwhile, Matt has an intimate encounter with his stalker; and Sean is upset to learn about Beverly’s second date.
